All of Apple's system software can be identified by the system version and the Language/Localisation Code. The Language code is a one or two character prefix applied to each localised System version. For example "F-7.5 Update 1.0" is a localised French MacOS. If you look in the About This Mac window, it will show you the language code used in your current System software.
