MTop may only be re-distributed on official MEBBSNet Support-BBS'. ===================== Updates & new program revision ====================== =========================================================================== Whenever a new release of `MTop' becomes available, it will be uploaded at the Danish MEBBSNet Support-BBS, MicroAmiga BBS, 2:230/813. NOTE: If there's a program, that stores data via traplist.library, that you might want to get a Top-10 of, please let me know, and I'll try to see, if I can get it implemented in the next version. ===================== Information about the program ======================= =========================================================================== This program is made to create Top-10 bulletins for MEBBSNet. The original idea came from an utility to the AmiExpress system. I used the layout from the text-output and added some options... And here's the result.. The program needs a config-file. It should be called MEBBSNet:Configfiles/MTop.cfg See example-configuration-file for more details. The program also needs the traplist.library if any of the FREQ/TICK options are used. Commandline options: CONFIG/K,NODELISTPATH/K CONFIG : Specifies alternative name of config-file NODELISTPATH : Specifies alternative path to nodelist in TrapList format ======================== How to adjust the colors ========================= =========================================================================== Here's an example of the output seen on the screen.... Here you can see where which color belongs... This screen-output might be slighty different from the one you get when you run MTop. V1.14 - Some error-codes changed to use PrintFault instead of Printf. V1.13 - Now uses utility.library to do some of the math-stuff. V1.12 - Bug fixed in code, which generated the bars in Ascii/Ibm-mode. V1.11 - Cleaned up code. V1.10 - Major changes in code, which resulted in a program approx. 10 KB smaller. File I/O now done direct with dos-routines instead of standard C-routines. V1.06 - Fixed the added code from v1.05, it didn't work probably. Small changes/adjustments done to text-output. V1.05 - If a user had more than 100000 KB up/down-load, the output would get corrupted. Tried to fix bug. Not released for public use. V1.04 - If Tick-output file was not specified, program would report error or breakdown. Bug fixed. V1.03 - Added developer-number to output-files. V1.02 - Added text output, so user can see what MTop is doing. V1.01 - Added check for output-files, so traplist.library not will be needed, unless TICK/FREQ-top tens are created. V1.00 - First official release, converted from StarNet ========================= Words from the Author =========================== =========================================================================== Greetings, questions, bug-reports, gifts, $$$ and Postcards should be sent to: GizmoSoft Productions c/o Brian Ipsen Lyngens Kvarter 274 DK-7400 Herning Denmark.
