JS Areafix
                             ============

The  "JS Areafix" is the buildin areafix of JS_TOSS. It may be reached
with  the  names  "AREAFIX",  "AREAMGR",  "JS_TOSS",  "AREAMANAGER" or
"AREAVERWALTUNG" (german).

JS  Areafix  gives  the  user  and the sysop every comfort and maximum
security. Everybody expect the sysop must use his/her session password
to  get  access  to  his/her  configs. The sysop needn't do this if he
writes direct from hier sysop tosser. If he writes from somewhere else
he must also give his password (hm, known any way?).

In  contrast  to  other  areafixes JS Areafix didn't allow commands in
subject line! This line is only for the passwort! All commands must be
placed in the mail body.

JS  Areafix  may  be  localized  by  a  simple  ASCII text file called
"JS_Areafix.language"  in  the area config files directory. Look below
for details on the file.


Commands:

%LIST           lists all areas in this zone (from zone config)

%QUERY          lists all selected areas (from link area config)

+<areaname>     adds <areaname> to selected list (AmigaDOS wildcards!)

<areaname>      adds <areaname> to selected list (AmigaDOS wildcards!)

-<areaname>     removes <areaname> from selected list
                (AmigaDOS wildcards!)

%PACKER         lists all available (un)packer

%PACKER <name>  sets packer <name> for the user

%INFO           sends some information of current user

%VERSION        sends an information about
                JS_TOSS Fido Mailtossing System

%HELP           sends help information (command list, etc.)

%MASTER <password>
                switches to mastermode (with correct password)
                if this is allowed by sysop (config file)
                the sysop will be informed of any use of this command
                in JS_TOSS.SYSOP echo

Only in mastermode:
(from Sysop mastermode is always active!)

%USER <address> changes address of current user (only in mastermode!)
                the sysop will be informed of any use of this!
                all commands (LIST, QUERY, etc.) will give information
                about THIS new user. <address> may have the additional
                options "@SYSOP" or "@BBS" (see tempfiles for
                mailrobots)

%BBS            switches to BBS (like %USER ...@BBS)
%ENDBBS         switches back to Sysop

                        path to the traplist compiled nodelists
                        (set this once for JS_TOSS and all is fine!)

 LOGAREAFIX
                        turn on log function

 PACKER name/A,packername/A,unpackername/A,text
                        adds a packer and unpacker to the list
                        the user could select one, you may add an
                        optional description <text> for this packer
              (e.g. packer LHA "c:lha a" "c:lha x" "THE Amiga packer")

 FORWARD address/A,receivername/A,sendername/A,areafile/A
                        forward request feature: <address> is the
                        address of the node you allow forward request,
                        <receivername> is the name of its areafix,
                        <sendername> is the name the reply of the
                        forward request will be send to - use name
                        "NULL" if possible so this replys will be
                        ignored, <areafile> is the path & name of an
                        list of areas you could request at <address>,
                        this file looks the same as Zone Config Files,
                        so LOCK or READONLY and echo descriptions are
                        allowed.
                        To avoid conflicts put every echo only once
                        in ALL forward files or JS_Areafix will take
                        the first matching echo it founds - and this
                        needn't to be in the first areafile!

 MASTER password/A
                        sets password for MASTER command, if not set
                        in config file MASTERMODE can't be enabled!
                        (from local MASTERMODE can ALWAYS be
                        activated!)

 MACRO name/A,file/A
                        file is a collection of areafix commands 
                        (%LIST, etc.) that could be started with
                        %<name> from any user - no mail is send to
                        user from these script commands!
                        If <file> contains "%z" it will be replaced
                        by current zone (e.g. "Mail:macrofile.%z" to
                        "Mail:macrofile.2"), "%p" will be replaced
                        by everything the user added behind the
                        %<name> command (e.g. "%test foobar", so
                        "foobar" will replace "%p")

 MASTERMACRO name/A,file/A
                        same as "macro" but only in MASTERMODE
                        available!

                        Localizing JS_AREAFIX
                        ---------------------

JS_AREAFIX  uses as buildin language german. But you may simple change
this  with  a  so  called  "language  file".  Look  in the "Languages"
directory  for some existing example languages. Maybe the one you need
is  already  in there. Then simple copy it in your "area config files"
directory and rename it to "JS_Areafix.language".

If there isn't the language you need, then you may simple make it (and
then send it as quickly as possible to me to allow me to add it to the
JS_TOSS  distribution  for other users!). Load one of the existing one
language  files in your text editor (take that file which language you
understood  :-).  Every text in JS_AREAFIX has a number which is shown
here.  Every  text  can be as long as you wish and will be used in the
areafix  mails as you enter them here. So every linefeed you make here
will  be  shown  in  the mail, no of this C language escape code (like
"\n") are allowed.

Every  text  starts  with  its  number  followed by a colon (like this
"2:"). The text starts in the next line and it finished by a semicolon
as first character of a line! After this semicolon you may add as many
comments as you like until the next text starts with a number.

Example:

With an empty line between the text lines and one after the last line.

Sometimes  it  is possible to add things like "%s" or "%d" which stand
for  a string or a number (like in language C). What exacly they stand
for in each line you may find in the english and german (and hopefully
any other) language file.

                            Some generals
                            -------------

To  avaid  trouble  with  Areafix,  Mailrobots, Tracker and the tosser
itself  you should instruct your up/downlinks always to use their same
address if they write to your system!

I.e. they should (for Areafix they MUST) use the address you specified
by  the  "link"  command.  If they don't areafix can't find their link
area config and fails. But you (the sysop) may manage this with a mail
tracker.
