Some tips for staying alive:

 o Keep track of ammunition levels and buy more whenever stores run low.
   An empty gun is no match for a loaded one.

 o Recycling discarded items is a quick way to earn some credits if you
   run out.

 o Moving targets are the hardest targets.  Standing still for any length
   of time opens you up to fire from any player who decides that his score
   is more important that your life.

 o Familiarize yourself with the maze and use the attributes of each area
   to your advantage.  For example, when trying to escape a persistent
   pursuer, heading towards a darkened area is likely to help elusion.

 o Never walk around without a vest or energy shield whenever possible.
