Read this document carefully. It sets out the terms and conditions applicable to using, modifying, and disseminating this distribution.



DEFINITIONS
===========


DISTRIBUTION refers to the whole etb package. It comprises all the contents - files, directories and their sub-levels - documents, sources, executables - everything.

DISSEMINATION, or TRANSMISSION, refers to the process of transmitting the distribution from source to source. It includes giving a copy, or the original, distribution to a person or external storage medium (Bulletin Board, Fred Fish, Aminet, etc.). It excludes the activities of making backup copies, or installing the software - this is personal, so it doesn't count as dissemination.

MODIFICATION refers to an alteration of the original distribution. The mere activity of executing a file does not constitute a modification. However, re-arranging directory structures, or altering file contents (including adding or deleting files), does constitute a modification.

    (3) DISSEMINATION : No fee needs to be paid for the distribution if it is held purely for dissemination purposes. I actively encourage the transmission of this work. Permission is given to use compression routines to make the distribution easier to transmit. The distribution may only be disseminated on a NOT-FOR-PROFIT basis.

    (4) MODIFICATION : The distribution can be modified for personal use, but a modified distribution may not be passed on to others. If you've tweaked the software, and made it better, then it would be nice to send it to me, so that I can include it in future releases of the package.

As an exception, the files 'mcstd.h' and 'mcstring.c' may be used in your own distributions.

    (5) WARRANTY : There is no warranty for this distribution whatsoever, either expressed or implied. The program is provided 'as is'.
