REQUIREMENTS AND DISTRIBUTION
   Requires AWeb 3.1 or higher.

   This script is freeware, not public domain. It may be spread only in
   unmodified form. Commercial utilization is exclusively allowed to AmiTrix
   and Yvon Rozijn (AWeb author).


WHAT DOES IT DO?
   This script enhances the AWeb 3.1 autosearch function. Just by typing a
   string in the url field you have access to following features:

   o normal autosearch on the configured search engine.
   o configure a new search engine from an easy to use HTML-GUI!
     (no need to type long strings any more...)
   o you can configure more than one engine to search with at the same time!
     In this case results will be showed as resizable IFrames in a page.
   o name completion: type the name of a company and AWeb will try to
     access its site in the "standard" form (www.company[.com, or any other
     domain you have configured]).


INSTALLATION
   o Create 'AutoSearch' drawer into your AWeb3:Plugins/ path.
     This is the suggested placement, you may use any directory,
     but be careful to use the new path for the configurations below.

   o Copy AutoSearch.awebrx and this document to the selected drawer.

   o Enable AutoSearch in the AWeb configuration.
     (Network settings/options/enable autosearch)

   o Set as the autosearch URL:
     x-aweb:rexx/AwebPath:Plugins/AutoSearch/AutoSearch.awebrx %s

   o Assign to the ARexx menu (GUI settings/arexx) the following:

     Title: AutoSearchCFG
     Name:  AwebPath:Plugins/AutoSearch/AutoSearch.awebrx

     You can also start the script from a Fastlink (GUI settings/buttons):
     or an userkey (GUI settings/keys) by using:

     For a fastlink:

     Name   : AutoSearchCFG
     Command: RUN AwebPath:Plugins/AutoSearch/AutoSearch.awebrx

     For an userkey:

     Key:     [the key you prefer]
     Command: RUN AwebPath:Plugins/AutoSearch/AutoSearch.awebrx

     You use these settings only to configure the AutoSearch script.
     A single placement in the ARexx menu is probably best.


CONFIGURATION
   Start the script from the ARexx menu, User Button or type '?' in AWebs url
   field and hit return.

   Now you can:
      o choose the domain for name completion (eg. .it , .com , .nl)
      o select one or more search engines to use for autosearch.

   Note that the multi search function requires frames to be active
   (browser settings/options/use frames). Without frames the result will
   not be very useful.


USAGE
   Examples of text typed in the url field:

   http://www.cnn.com -> This doesn't start AutoSearch as the url contains
   or www.cnn.com        ':', '.' and '/', characters used by AWeb to
                         distinguish an url from an autosearch request.

   cnn                -> This one searches 'cnn' on the search engine(s)
                         selected in the configuration.

   @cnn               -> This one loads http://www.cnn.com (or other
                         domain, if differently configured).

   ?                  -> starts configuration function. The same happens
                         when calling autosearch.awebrx without arguments
                         (eg. from a menu, fast link or an user key).


AVAILABLE ENGINES
   The following engines are currently supported:

   AltaVista (default)
   Lycos
   Yahoo
   Excite
   Northern Light

   Need others? Write me! Do NOT add them yourself!
