The files included in this archive are based loosely
on the file "UUdecode.LZH" which is found on a variety
of Fish disks.

They have been updated by Matt Dillon, Michael Smith,
and Chris Hinds Genly.

They were originally based, I believe, on PD sources
posted to comp.sources.unix, but the trail is very
muddy.

They have been included in several releases of the
AmigaUUCP package.
