The ground at which England play home rugby
internationals, laid out on 4.2 hectares of
land in SW London. The first international
was held there in 1910. The Rugby Football
Union has its headquarters at Twickenham and
the Harlequins club plays some of its home
matches there. A new stand was opened in
1990.
