Game reserve in NE Transvaal, South Africa,
between the Limpopo and Crocodile rivers; it
is the largest in the world (about 20,720 sq
km/8,000 sq mi). The Sabie Game Reserve was
established 1898 by President Kruger, and the
park declared in 1926.
