Webb, Philip (Speakman) 1831-1915. English
architect. He mostly designed private houses,
including the Red House, Bexley Heath,
Sussex, for William Morris, and was one of
the leading figures, with Richard Norman Shaw
and C F A Voysey, in the revival of domestic
English architecture in the late 19th
century.
