Species of deer Cervus canadensis, native to
North America, Europe, and Asia. It is
reddish-brown in colour, about 1.5 m/5 ft at
the shoulder, weighs up to 450 kg/1,000 lb,
and has antlers up to 1.2 m/4 ft long. It is
becoming increasingly rare.
