1878-1917. English poet, born in London of
Welsh parents. He met the US poet Robert
Frost and began writing poetry under his
influence. Some of his poems were published
early in 1917 under the pseudonym Edward
Eastaway in An Anthology of New Verse. Poems
was published Oct 1917 after his death in
World War I, followed by Last Poems 1918.
