French saint. She was born in Alencon, and
entered a Carmelite convent in Lisieux at 15,
where her holy life induced her superior to
ask her to write her spiritual autobiography.
She advocated the `Little Way of Goodness' in
small things in everyday life, and became
known as the `Little Flower of Jesus'. She
died of tuberculosis and was canonized 1925.
