George Devine he established the English
Stage Company 1955 at the Royal Court
Theatre, with productions such as Look Back
in Anger 1956. His films include Saturday
Night and Sunday Morning 1960, A Taste of
Honey 1961, Tom Jones 1963, Dead Cert 1974,
and Joseph Andrews 1977. He is the father of
the actress Natasha Richardson.
