for roles in Luigi Pirandello's The Rules of
the Game, in Harold Pinter's The Caretaker,
and also in the title role of the film Dr
Crippen 1962, conveying the sinister aspect
of the outcast from society. Other films
include THX 1138 1971 and The Eagle has
Landed 1976.
