associated with the film director Ingmar
Bergman. He worked frequently in the USA from
the mid-1970s onwards. His films include The
Virgin Spring 1960 (for Bergman), Pretty Baby
1978 (for Louis Malle), and Fanny and
Alexander 1982 (for Bergman).
