1562-1611. Japanese warrior and politician
who was instrumental in the unification of
Japan and the banning of Christianity in the
country. He led the invasion of Korea 1592,
and helped Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa
Ieyaso in their efforts to unify Japan.
