include The Wizard of Oz (which featured the
tune that was to become her theme song, `Over
the Rainbow'), Babes in Arms 1939, Strike Up
the Band 1940, Meet Me in St Louis 1944,
Easter Parade 1948, A Star is Born 1954, and
Judgment at Nuremberg 1961. She began her
acting career 1935 in the Andy Hardy series.
She was the mother of actress-singer Liza
