inspired by the spatial harmony and regular
rhythms of the traditional Turkish house.
These qualities are reinterpreted in modern
forms with great sensitivity to context, as
in the Social Security Agency Complex,
Zeyrek, Istanbul (1962-64), and the Ataturk
Library, Istanbul (1973).
