scenes of his native Venice. His series The
Legend of St Ursula 1490-98 (Accademia,
Venice) is full of detail of contemporary
Venetian life. His other great series is the
lives of saints George and Jerome 1502-07 (S
Giorgio degli Schiavoni, Venice).
