Peach'.

1886-1961. US baseball player, one of the
greatest batters and base runners of all
time. He played for Detroit and Philadelphia
1905-28, and won the American League batting
average championship 12 times. He holds the
record for runs scored, 2,254, and batting
average, .367. He had 4,191 hits in his
career - a record that stood for almost 60
years.
