1903-1944. Italian Fascist politician.
Son-in-law of Mussolini, he was foreign
minister 1936-43, when his loyalty became
suspect. He voted against Mussolini at the
meeting of the Grand Council in July 1943
that overthrew the dictator, but was later
tried for treason and shot by the Fascists.
