Boeing Airplane Company 1917. Its military
aircraft include the Flying Fortress
propeller-driven bombers used in World War II
and the Chinook
helicopter; its commercial craft include the
jetfoil and the Boeing 707, 727, 737, 747,
757, and 767 series of jets. (The 717 is used
as a military transport craft.)
