Bandaranaike, Sirimavo (born Ratwatte) 
1916- . Sri Lankan politician, who succeeded
her husband Solomon Bandaranaike to become
the world's first female prime minister
1960-65 and 1970-77, but was expelled from 
parliament 1980 for abuse of her powers while
in office. She was largely responsible for
the new constitution 1972.
