Ballesteros, Seve(riano) 1957- . Spanish
golfer who came to prominence 1976 and has
won several leading tournaments in the USA,
including the Masters Tournament. He has also
won the British Open three times: in 1979,
1984, and 1988. Born in Pedrena, N Spain, he
is one of four golf-playing brothers. He has
won more than 60 tournaments worldwide and
more than million on the European Tour.
