126-1014. Connacht to become ruler of all
Ireland. He defeated the Norse at Clontarf,
thus ending Norse control of Dublin, although
he was himself killed. He was the last high
king with jurisdiction over most of Scotland.
His exploits were
celebrated in several chronicles.
