A small child who may have a difficult time using a keyboard will be able to have control of the action. The main aim of Eraser- spell is to familiarize the child with the letters of the alphabet and to connect the word with the object that the word represents. INSTRUCTIONS The general idea is to uncover the picture inside an individual rectangle. This may be automatic or manual. The user moves the cursor to a rectangle (anywhere on the screen) and clicks the left mouse button. If automode is in effect the picture will be automatically filled in. If mode is in effect the user moves the mouse around in- side the rectangle to uncover the picture. At any time, when in mode, the user may click the left mouse button and the entire picture will be filled in. This process is continued until QUIT is selected. Three word lists are included on this disk. They are "TOOLS","HOUSE",and "ANIMALS". MENUS Menus are selected using the right mouse button. QUIT Ends the program. MODE Picking any item from this menu puts the user in manual mode. Each item is a different way of erasing. When in manual mode the user moves the cursor around in the rec- tangle but does not touch either mouse button. Click- ing the left mouse button will automatically fill in the full picture. The user must click the left mouse button to continue with the program. AUTOMODE Picking any item from this menu puts the user in automatic mode. The picture will be filled in automatically using the style selected on the menu. LISTS This menu has the different word lists. To change to another list the user picks the preferred list and then clicks the left mouse button. It is best to pick a list as soon as you start the program. (before cliking on a box) VOICE This menu changes the voice as shown. Autofill turns on or off the autofill in manual mode. Enjoy! Kids.
