The Roland_1212A printer driver archive file contains the files:

               Roland.1212A               5408 bytes
               R_1212A.Cmds               3593 bytes
               Printer.Test              10052 bytes
               Notes.doc                   924 bytes
               Printer.Cmds               4756 bytes
               Readme.1212                1698 bytes


     To install the printer driver copy the file Roland.1212A into the
     the devs/printers/ directory of your workbench disk.  Then use the 
     Preferences utility to select the Roland.1212A driver.


     The R_1212A.Cmds file is a complete list of the printer commands
     implemented.


     The Printer.Test file is a test file which demonstrates the various
     commands implemented in the printer driver and brief description of
     how to use each command.  Before submitting the printer.test file to 
     the printer use the Preferences utility to temporarily configure the
     printer defaults to:

                           Left Margin    15 chars
                           Right Margin   40 chars
                           Length         35 lines
                           Pitch          12-Elite
                           Spacing         8 lpi
                           Quality        Letter

     and set the printer paper to the top line of a new form.  

     To submit the file to the printer type:

         TYPE PRINTER.TEST TO PRT:

     
     The Notes.doc file talks about implementation specifics of the 
     Roland.1212A driver.


     The Printer.Cmds file is a complete list of all the printer commands
     defined on the Amiga.
