Marriage help

The  marriage  screen  can  be reached either from the add person screen.
Simply  press  on the marriages button when the current person is the one you
wish  to  add/change  marriage details.  If the person does not have a spouse
already,  you will be asked whether you wish to create a new spouse or choose
someone  who already exists.  Either way, you will be taken onto the marriage
details screen.
    Information is entered in the  same   way  as for personal details except
that the validation is in the form of checkboxes instead of the scrollbox.
    To view other marriages (if available), select the spouse from the list
at the top of the screen

12.1. Reason for next marriage

    You can specify  a  reason  for   both   the  husband's  and  wife's next
marriage. To do this just  position  the  mouse  over  the correct button and
click to  cycle  through  all  the   reasons  (the  reasons  are  defined  in
the preferences screen and can be changed).
    Remember, if a person has married more  than once then the reason goes in
the previous marriage record.

    E.g. Joe Smith has been married twice.  His first wife died.  Therefore
         in the marriage record that contains Joe and his first wife the
         husband's reason would be 'spouse died'.

12.2. Picture

    Each marriage can have an  IFF  picture   assigned  to it and this option
lets you view the picture if one   is   available.   To assign a picture to a
marriage you need to put  it  into   the   pictures  drawer  and rename it to
'M<n>' where <n> is the  marriage   number.    When you have finished viewing
the picture, press the right button to exit.

    E.g. A picture for marriage record 15 would look like:
                 pictures/M15

12.3. Amending a marriage/Adding new marriages

    If you wish to add more than one marriage to a person you will have to
press on the 'Add New' button.  This will then allow you to choose the spouse
or create a new record for the spouse - the rest of the details are entered
as normal.
    When changing a spouse, first select the correct spouse in the list.
Then press on 'Change' and choose the new spouse.
    If you change some details in a marriage, remember to save it
afterwords.
    It is important to remember that when you change someones gender you will
have to change their marriage record  (if  available) because the husband and
wife will be of the wrong gender.  To  do this select the `choose` option for
both of the marriage members and change them to the correct person.
