SuperViewer V2.2 How To Set Up A Disk ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To use SuperViewer, you need either one or two disks with IFF picture files on them. The disk(s) can be any name you like,it doesn't matter. NOTE..If you use two disks you must either use a second disk drive or set up two seperate disks with the SuperViewer utility on both. The IFF picture files must have a number as a filename. Eg.1,2,3,5,23. The number must be between 1 and 100.No other files (Directories, cli commands, etc) can have a number as a filename. This would confuse the utility. The IFF pictures can't be crunched. If they are, then the utility won't work. This version of SuperViewer doesn't support the AGA screen modes. If you want a piece of music to play whle viewing the pictures, all you have to do is name a tracker file as Music, and it will load and play automaticaly. Again, the music file can't be crunched, otherwise the utility won't work. The boot disk should be set up like this: S Directory with a Startup-Sequence. IFF picture files, with a number for a filename. The SuperViewer V2.2 utility. An optional Music file. An optional System-Configuration file. As you can see,the only directory is the S directory. All other files only work straight from the disk. How To Use SuperViewerV2.2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When SV first loads up,it goes into Auto Mode. This means that the pictures are loaded up in numerical order, with a 12 second wait between each one.You can either press the LMB to skip the wait and go to the next picture or press the RMB to bring up the control panel(see below). If you just leave it,the pictures will loop around through the sequence. If you bring up the control panel, you should see 8 buttons.See below what they do,but they are fairly self explanatory. PREV - Clicking on this button will load up the previous picture. If there are no previous pictures(i.e the slideshow is at the start) then nothing will happen. VIEW - Clicking on this button will hide the control panel, enabling you to see the whole picture.Press the LMB to bring the panel back up again. AUTO - Clicking on this with the LMB will hide the panel, and the slideshow will go into Auto Mode(see above). Also, clicking it with the RMB will bring up a box, into which you can type a number and use that as the new delay between pictures. So that when you select AUTO,the slideshow will do a wait of the number you entered.Eg. 15 Seconds. The default is 12 seconds. NEXT - Clicking on this button will load up the next picture. If there are no more pictures(i.e the slideshow is at the end) then nothing will happen. START - This button will load up the first picture in the sequence. If this picture is already being displayed, then nothing will happen. QUIT - This button will exit the slideshow. ABOUT - This button brings up a panel with info on it.Click the LMB to return to the main control panel. END - This button will load up the last picture in the sequence. If this picture is already being displayed, then nothing will happen. If you have any trouble setting up a disk, then take a look at the disk it came on,to see how it was done. This utility was tested on a A500 1Meg and a standard A1200 with 85MB hard drive. This utility can be freely copied,as long as no changes are made to the program. Also, include this document on any disk you release into the PD.
