Heres  our  third  collection of (AGA) Utilities for Workbench 3.0 machines
(A1200  amd A4000/030 and 040 machines).  More utilities will follow as and
when released.


CPUCLEAR v3.200

CPUClear   is  a  small  hack,  inspired  by  CPUBlit,  that  replaces  the
BltClear()-Routine  of the "graphics.library" with a highly optimized 68020
(or  higher) version.  This gains (in a simple test) approx.  60% speed and
should  be  even faster on an A3000, because the CPU works more efficiently
with 32-Bit ChipRAM.


DEGRADER v1.30

You  upgrade  your  system  and  what  happens?   The idiots who wrote your
favorite program didn't follow the guidelines and it no longer works.  This
is  where degrader comes in, it will try to degrade your system so that the
old brain dead program will work on your machine.  You can also just use it
to  boot  off  floppy  drives other than DF0:, force your machine to PAL or
NTSC,  turn  the audio filter on or off and other things.  Please note that
many  of Degrader's functions are hacks in that they may not work on future
versions  of  the  Amiga  hardware  or software.  The Early Startup Control
provided  in  Kickstart  3.0 (just hold down both mouse buttons at reset to
use) will help getting old software to work as well.  Use its options where
possible as they are more likely to work.


DISKMATE v4.0

DiskMate  will  perform  the  following  tasks  Multitasking,  Multi  drive
Diskcopier  Dos/NonDos, Multi drive Disk formatter Multi drive Disk eraser,
Disk Installer, Floppy disk Checker and Floppy disk Cruncher (DMS)


FASTGIFF II v1.01

FastGIF  II  is  The  GIF viewer.  This new version has been rewritten, now
there  is  a  real  user  interface,  a  file-requester,  gadgets, and also
short-cut,  now  you  can  display  picture  in a screen as before and in a
WorkBench window.  FastGIF II takes advantage of the new AGA chipset.  It's
always the FASTEST GIF viewer on Amiga.


QDISK v1.00

QDisk  is  a workbench program to display the space usage of your AMIGA DOS
devices.  Although Qdisk will work from the CLI I recommend it be used from
the workbench.  QDisk will not accept arguments from CLI.


THE DISK UTE v2.0

The  Disk  Ute  is a multitasking copier/formatter written with ease of use
and speed in mind.  The program supports high density Amiga disks and works
happily  on  an  A4000/3000/1200/2000/600/500.   It requires Workbench 2.0x
upwards.   It  is  easy  enough  to  use  that  I  will  give  only a brief
explanation of the various functions.


WBGENIE v1.02

WBGenie is a WB program launcher with a difference.  It is intended to be a
WB interface to a set of WB programs (which I am in the process of writing)
to  make  performing  housekeeping  chores  on the Amiga simple.  There are
already  shareware  and  public  domain programs which perform housekeeping
functions.   You  may  very  easily  configure WBGenie to use any of these.
(i.e.   WBGenie  will  launch any WB program, not just those I supply.) The
underlying  philosophy  behind  WBGenie  is  that  the programs it launches
should  have simple intuitive interfaces which can be passed parameters via
the WB.


WBVERLAUF

WBVerlauf  lets  you  create  nice color effects for a selectable pen color
number  on  the Workbench screen, using the whole 16 million color range of
the AGA chips.


YAPS v1.0d

is  (yet  another)  Program  to  open  and  close Public Screens.  The main
feature  of  YAPS  is  that  you  can  use  ALL  (even the new A4000/A1200)
Amiga-Screenmodes.   Therefore Yaps generates a list of the available modes
to choose from.
