sorts them VERY fast, helps you LOCATE particular files, and
lets you EXECUTE command templates on selected files.

Executive can COMPARE several similar directories or disks to
find duplicate or changed files; a common task with hard disks.

Executive can CATALOG (and print) the contents of your disks.
LE MASTER

FileMaster is a file editor like NewZap or FedUp which  allows you  
to manipulate  bytes of a file.  But you  may also change the file 
size or you can execute a patch, too. FileMaster is  compatible to  
ProPatch (published by the German AMIGA Magazine).
Another important aspect is that you can work with a copy  of  the
file and save it as a different file  or you can  just  edit  some
bytes of an  existing file. FileMaster  runs on  PAL and  on  NTSC 
computers.

Formatter (v2.0)

The  standard  'format'  command surely does a brilliant job, since it
gets  around  with  any device driver and partitions of any size.  But
which  data media is formatted most often?  Floppy disks (3½" format
hardwired  to  the  Amiga  computer)  of  course.  'Formatter 2.0' was
written  to fit the niche for fast(er) and user friendlier floppy disk
formatting  programs.   It  also  shows  how to format file systems in
general and how to get AmigaDOS to accept them.

TRACKSALVE

this package are routines to stop disk clicking, fix trackdisk 
bugs, recover individual tracks, and more.

VALIDATE

Validate is a program whipped up for individuals who need to 
force a disk to be validated (something that hard disk users 
should appreciate, especially if they have ever received a disk 
validation error on their harddisk). Runs from CLI only.
