Mpath

MPath is a graphics toy for your Amiga.  With it you can create
whirling galaxies and nebulas that grow in detail as you watch! MPath 
was designed to show the internal workings of the creation of
the Mandelbrot set---all the strange patterns formed by points as they jump
around the complex plane.  You begin by clicking on a point in the
Mandelbrot set, then click-set some optional parameters, and then watch as
points or lines begin swooping across the screen and spiral webs grow out
from the center.  It is as much fun to watch the creation process as it is
to view the final results!

RayShade

Rayshade, a raytracing program, is available for "Beta" testing.  Rayshade
reads a multi-line ASCII file describing a scene to be rendered and produces
a Utah Raster RLE format file of the raytraced image. Features 
include; primitives (boxes, cones, cylinders, planes, polygons, 
spheres, triangles, [flat- or Phong-shaded]),  Composite objects, 
Point, directional, and extended (area) light sources, Solid 
texturing and bump mapping of primitives, objects, and individual 
instances of objects,   Antialiasing through adaptive supersampling 
or "jittered" sampling, Arbitrary linear transformations of 
primitives, instances of objects, and texture/bump maps, Use of 
uniform spatial subdivision and/or hierarchy of bounding volumes to 
speed rendering, and options to facilitate rendering of stereo pairs. 

ROSES

This program creates wonderful pictures of objects that resemble 
roses.  The roses are actually know as  sine roses.  This is an 
implementation of an algorithm given in the article, "A Rose is a 
Rose ..." by Peter M. Maurer.
 
SimGen

SimGen displays any 2 or 4 color IFF picture "behind"
your WorkBench.  If the IFF picture is a digitized picture
it looks much like a GenLocked Display; hence the name
SIMGEN for 'SIMulated GENlock'.  If your tired of the standard boring 
workbenck screen, get this program.
