 INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREFERENCES
 ----------------------------

 Version 1.5 has 6 options which can be changed to suit the users needs.

 1) Colours

 2) Automatic Loading

 3) Sound

 4) Keyboard / Mouse Input Response

 5) Ctrl C to Break from Program

 6) Automatic Clearing of Transaction Ticks

 1) Colours
 ----------

 "The Money Program" uses 8 colours. To alter any of these colours click
 on the appropriate box and adjust the mixture of Red, Green and Blue of
 the colour. 

 Users should note that drastic changes of colours may produce results
 which can make some screens unreadable. Colours such as red, blue,
 yellow, black and white are really integral parts of the program and 
 shouldn't be changed much.


 2) Automatic Loading
 --------------------

 When this option is set to ON the program will, when started initially,
 miss out the title screen and confirmation of Todays Date, and then will  
 launch into the option LOAD FROM DATA DISK.

 Using this option is only of any use to users with a battery backed up 
 clock which will ensure the correct date is loaded. Also, having the data
 disk mounted will ensure that the program can immediately load the data
 on start-up.

 Single drive owners will find this option more useful if they save their
 data onto their Program Disk - Please make sure, however, that you use a
 copy of the original Program Disk.
 

 3) Sound
 --------

 Self-explanatory. Note that turning the sound off will also turn off the
 alarm sound. 


 4) Keyboard / Mouse Input Response
 ----------------------------------

 Alters the speed at which the program reacts to keyboard presses and
 mouse buttons. Right mouse button to slow down this response and left
 mouse button to speed up the response.


 5) Ctrl C to Break from Program
 -------------------------------

 If set to ON, the user will be able to escape from the program at any
 stage instead of only from the Main Menu. A word of warning though,
 escaping using Control C will not allow the program to check if the users
 last command was a SAVE command.


 6) Automatic Clearing of Transaction Ticks
 ------------------------------------------
