DISK EDITOR'S NOTE: These tools can only be used from the CLI.

                   ConvNew   ConvDDL  ConvKOA  ConvPS

These files will convert Commodore 64 Doodle, KoalaPaint, Print Shop and
Newsroom  format files to Interleaved File Format (IFF) files,respectively.
The command format is:


      Convxxx <Sourcefile> <Targetfile>

For example, to convert the Koala file Choo.KOA, included on this disk, to
IFF format, enter:  ConvKOA Choo.KOA Choo.IFF.  Of course, you can name the
destination file to anything you like.

ConvDDL and ConvKOA create files that are compatable with Deluxe Paint in
the Lo Res mode.  ConvPS will create an IFF file that can be loaded into
D'Paint as a Brush.

These three files are public domain, author, Brian Conrad.  Wayne Schmidt is
the creator of Choo.KOA and one of the premier Commodore 64 artists.

Addendum: Added to these files are ConvNew. This file converts Newsroom
Photos and Banners to a IFF file which may be used in DPaint or other
programs.

It may be possible to use Newsroom graphics from other computers by adding
two extra bytes to the front of the graphic file. The C64 uses the first two
bytes as a program file load address. These bytes are skipped over by this
program.

   Usage:    ConvNew <source file> <destination file>


Author of ConvNew is unknown at this time. This file was downloaded from
