Constantly bothered by the loss of MyMenu after running Preferences, I finally decided it was time to do something about it. The script file included in this archive will run Preferences, and if you have a Commodore hard drive with the 2090A controller like I do, it will ask you if you want to "CopyPrefs" as you have to with this configuration if you want the Prefs to be there when you reboot. If you don't have this problem with your hd, just delete those lines from the file. After copying prefs or not, mymenu will reload. Saves having to reinstall it after Preferences. Also included in this archive is an IconX file to configure Mymenu. It was a big necessity for me, since I'm always changing stuff around in it. For both files, just run ed on the scripts and define the paths that work for your system. Hope it helps someone as it's helped me! Linda Palermo August 19, 1990
