        Copper Editor 2 Docfile
        =======================

What the program does :-
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
        This program enables you to create those nice colour lists
found in games such as Turrican II. The program  will save out two
files, one is binary which is mainly just for reloading later into
the editor and the other is source code which can be inserted into
your own  machine code programs (included on this disc is a source
code file which will open a screen and display the copper list you
previously created some assembler knowledge is needed).
How to use the Editor :-
               easy reference. As above pressing again will remove it
               from the screen.
Mouse Controls :-
==============
Mouse movement - Moving the mouse up and down selects which line to edit.
Left Mouse Button - Colours the current line to colour A.
Right Mouse Button - Colours the current line to colour B.
Loading & Saving :-
================
        Loading - After pressing L a file requester will show prompting
                  you to enter your filename, ie df0:Example1.bin .
                  Note that the file to load into the editor is the one
                  saved with the .bin extension.
        Saving  - After pressing S the same requester will appear as
                  before prompting you to enter a filename. The program
                  adds the extensions .s for source and .bin for the
                  binary file itself so these are not necessary.
        If you are using two drives, when you boot up have a blank
disc ready in that drive to save to or if you  only have one drive
copy the program to a blank disc and save to that when needed.
        Or as an alternative  you could save to ram: then copy the
files to a disc when you have finished.
