 After giving AMOS a lot of publicity after it's release we didn't receive
 much support or update information from Mandarin Software. A sad thing 
 because Martyn helped with the development of AMOS and he also released
 several AMOS PD disks.

 Also the feedback of our readers was surprisingly low so we suspect that 
 many people who bought the original never succeeded in writing original
 material for our magazine. We did publish some nice listings but the games
 made using AMOS were not of the high standard we expected. AMOS is still
 a very powerful language to make presentations and educational software
 but we doubt it will bring arcade games in the near future.

 If you want to learn programming AMOS is always better than the standard
 basic but will never replace Assembler or C. We will therefor give C and
 assembler routines for space in future issues. If we see that our readers
 ask for a return of the AMOS section we will pick up this section again.
 
 We planned to give you information about the new version, the compiler
 and the 3D version but we are still waiting for any review copies. So 
 if Mandarin is interested to inform you, then we will not hestitate to 
 review any of this new AMOS products.
