   breezes and cloudy at noon.

 "The land at 9 o'clock a.m. bore
   N.and by W., a ruf sketch of
   which I took at about 4 or 5 
       leagues distant. 
  The wind being right again it
  drove us away, we being at the
  East most point by daylight."
