    Fresh breezes and cloudy 
 
  "two sailors put in irons for 
   threatening the Captain and a
   third put in irons but soon 
   released.
 Ordered by the Captain and Doctor
 to form ourselves into 2 watches 
 to assist in any manner they might
 think fit - Mr.Donald attempted
 to enter cabbin privately by the
 quarter gallory about 8 o'clock at
 night - again in the morning he
 entered by the hatch and was 
 secured by Turnbull, Stubbs,
 and Hall until the Captain came."

  John Beeby, previously demoted,
  and James Fennell,another Quarter
  Master. Later,in Sydney Cove,these
  2 were given 45 lashes by order
  of Governor King.Still later Beeby
  drowned at China and shortly after
  Fennell incited mutiny and was 
  taken off the ship for trial )
