 Variable light breezes and cloudy
 during night and day - one of the
 Johnston children very ill with
 "the sore eye" - Mr.Mein still
 very ill - Mr.Stubbs's children a
 great deal better of the scarlet
 fever - "all the children has had
 it and got well over it -
 Mrs. Selby's grogg ordered to be
 stopped for a fortnight back -
 serious apprehensions of the
 ship's crew being dissatisfied 
 with appearance of the officers".
