This is a very low version of our Kyocera PCL program, it has been fully upgraded since this version but more about this later. KYOCERA PRINTER CONTROL LANGUAGE FRONT-END MENU SYSTEM ====================================================== This program is based around the basic commands of the kyocera control language called PRESCRIBE, This program will enable you to quickly and efficiently set the printer to any requirements needed by you for your printing. At the moment with this version it only supports parallel interfaces, so you will need your printer connected to the parallel port of your amiga. Also you will need to have initalised the printer via your workbench disk, or any other program you may have that does so. This version of the program does not support printer initialisation. Once you have done the above you are now ready to go. If you are starting from the Workbench just double-click on the PCL icon, if you are in the CLI just type pcl . A small window with the title `Kyocera PCL` should now appear, if it doesn`t the program doesn`t work. The window will be active upon execution, so you are now ready to rock `n` roll, as such. The Reprogram option has been totally disabled, basically because we want to know if anyone needs the program before really working our butts off, just to get no response. This option though will be fully working on the version we send out to you if you register with us. I will not go into too much detail with each of the options available as they are really self-explanatory for anyone who owns a kyocera laser printer. But full printed documentation is available upon request, for the cost of you telling us what you think of the program. We have tried to go by the rules of Commodore, where menus are concerned, so if you see >> after a menu option it menu there is a sub-menu, if you see three dots ... after a menu option it menus that a window will appear and input by you will be necessary to continue.
