Here is a quick summary of the icons in this directory:

xicon          This is associated with the xicon program itself, but its
               only function when clicked on is to display some quick notes.
               The notes are contained in a separate file 'xicon_text'.
               If you move the icon to another directory, the xicon program
               itself will be moved but the text will not follow it.

README         Displays this text.

Xicon_Manual   Displays the complete manual for xicon.  The following
               subsidiary files are required:

                          manual.desc
                          manual.script
                          MORE

what's here?   Displays a complete listing of the files in this directory
               (whether or not they have an icon).  The icon can be
               moved to ANY directory on a disk and will show the
               contents of that directory, as long as ':xicon/xicon'
               exists (i.e. xicon is available in the directory
               ':xicon' on that disk.

cli here       Opens a new CLI in this directory (instead of in DF0: as
               the standard 'cli' icon does).  It will operate from
               any directory as long as :xicon/xicon is available.

democommand    Is a not-do-very-much command that can be used as a starting
               point for your own icons and command scripts.

MORE           Is associated with the program file MORE, but (like the
               xicon icon) it does not run it directly.  It invokes
               the program itself (via xicon) to display its manual.


Feel free to explore the workings of these icons (some of which are quite
complicated).  Start off by opening up the INFO display for the icon from
the WorkBench Menu, and click through the Tool Types.  You should also
look at the associated command scripts (unless there is a MODE=noscript
Tool Type!) with the TYPE command from the CLI.
