Help for PREFERENCE:

PREFERENCE can be used to customize several of CONNplex's features. You may
select a new prompt, have the system inform you if you recieve mail while
logged on, specify if the system should pause after a screen full of inform-
ation is sent, and if the system should notify you if a conference is started.
Syntax:

PREFERENCE  NOTICE  ON | OFF    - enable/disable mail notices while connected.
PREFERENCE  CONFERENCE ON | OFF - enable/disable notice if a conference starts.
PREFERENCE  LOGIN  ON | OFF     - enable/disable notice of mail waiting when
                                  logging in. Default = ON
PREFERENCE  LINES  <lines>      - Sets the maximum # of lines to send to your
                                  screen before pausing. Set this value to
                                  the # of lines on your screen-2 or to the
                                  value -1 if you do not want this feature.
                                  This feature works for READ, LIST and HELP.
                                  Default = -1
PREFERENCE  PROMPT <text>       - Customizes the text of the prompt.
