STEPS TO CONVERT DPRINT ART TO PAGESETTER CLIPART

 1. Use Kickstart 1.2
 2. Insert formatted data disk in df1:
 3. Insert Deluxe Print in df0:
 4. Remove Deluxe Print and replace with Grabbit 1.0
 5. Open Grabbit 1.0
 6. Click on GRABAssign
 7. Swap Deluxe Print & Grabbit as per prompts (DF0: only!)
 8. Type "DF1:" in the requester
 9. Click on Grabbit 1.0
10. Swap disks as per prompts (DF0: only!)
11. When requester signals "Successful Load", close Grabbit 1.0 (both
    windows)
12. Swap disks in DF0:
13. Open Deluxe Print
14. Click on Deluxe Print program Icon
15. Select SIGN mode
16. Select IMAGES option
17. Select SELECT
18. Click on PALETTE (very important)
19. Select 2nd color from left (gray)
20. Adjust color sliders till all white (all three to far right)
21. Select OK
22. Pick desired art group
23. Once loaded, hit CONTROL+ALTERNATE+S (simultaneously)
24. NOTE: present screen will save to DF1: (in a few seconds)
25. Go to step #22 until all desired groups have been transfered

     TRANSFERRING FROM IFF PAGES TO IFF BRUSHES USING DELUXE PAINT II

 1. ReBoot leaving data disk in DF1: and having DPAINT II in DF0:
 2. Open DPAINT II
 3. Select MED RESOLUTION
 4. Select LOAD ALL
 5. Select LOAD in the PICTURE Menu
 6. Click on the DF1: gadget
 7. Delete the "med-res" part from the drawer string gadget
 8. Hit Return
 9. NOTE: You will now be looking at a directory of the IFF Grabbit pages
10. Select Grabbit file (looks something like  "GI_4M.001")
11. Capture the art as a large rectangular brush (keep group together)
12. Select SAVE from the BRUSH menu
13. Click on the DF1: gadget
14. Delete the "brush" part from the drawer string gadget
15. Type in desired name of Clipart (I suggest using .pgst as suffix)
16. Hit Return and Click on OK
17. Steps 5-16 may be repeated as often as necessary to convert the pages
    to brushes (after the first time, a fastdir. used by DPAINT II will
    make disk access much quicker)
