Some notes for multidisk V3.22

Two  new  formats  included:   Macintosh  800K and Macintosh
400K.   Mac  400K  ist not tested, because we don't have any
single-sided   Mac   disks.   Writing  is  included,  and  a
Catweasel-  written  disk  has been succesfully tested in an
Apple PowerBook (TM?).

Use  Flags  =  9  for  Mac  800K disks.  Copy disks with the
Diskcopy  command  from  Shell.   Just  use a mountlist that
describes  a  800K double-sided disk, because the Apple DD's
zonebit-recordings  cannot  be  entered in a mountlist.  For
copying  with  diskcopy,  you  can use Amiga OFS/FFS, but it
will  show  up  "no  dos disk".  Please report compatibility
with CrossMac!

If  your drive fails reading Mac 800K disks between Track 64
and  79 (use TrackWindow to check the head position), it may
be  impossible  to  read  that  zone  with your drive.  Some
diskdrives filter these low frequencies, because they expect
a  bitrate  that's  about twice as fast.  TEAC and Panasonic
drives   have   been   tested   succesfully,  please  report
compatibility with your drive.  Don't consider your drive as
defective  if  it doesn't read Mac 800K disks, in our tests,
cleaning  has  helped a lot, although the drive has read all
the  other  formats without any problems.  Reading the inner
zone  of a Mac 800K disk takes the drive electronics to it's
limits, that's why it may take some retries on older drives.

We  have  called  this  version  of the device V3.22 because
Commodore 1571-disks are still not implemented, and Mac 400K
disks  need  some  testing.  As soon as 1571 is implemented,
we'll call it V3.3 :-)
