This is a simple memory speed tester for Delfina DSP. Just run it and see the results.. For reference, here are the results for A4000 with 40MHz Warp Engine. With no DSP processing active: 32bit Delfina->Amiga: 2226835 bytes/sec 32bit Amiga->Delfina: 2185448 bytes/sec 24bit Delfina->Amiga: 1709417 bytes/sec 24bit Amiga->Delfina: 1660091 bytes/sec 16bit Delfina->Amiga: 2268516 bytes/sec 16bit Amiga->Delfina: 1997447 bytes/sec 8bit Delfina->Amiga: 1148537 bytes/sec 8bit Amiga->Delfina: 1023588 bytes/sec DelFX running at the same time: 32bit Delfina->Amiga: 2134770 bytes/sec 32bit Amiga->Delfina: 2068241 bytes/sec 24bit Delfina->Amiga: 1661097 bytes/sec 24bit Amiga->Delfina: 1621695 bytes/sec 16bit Delfina->Amiga: 2216279 bytes/sec 16bit Amiga->Delfina: 1886247 bytes/sec 8bit Delfina->Amiga: 1084813 bytes/sec 8bit Amiga->Delfina: 981591 bytes/sec DelFX has a huge audio interrupt that will suck almost all CPU time in Delfina. As you can see, this has almost no effect in memory transfer speeds. Tell me if you get higher values! A real Zorro-II machine like A2000 could perform better, on Zorro-III some cycles are lost to bus synchronising. - zuikkis@sci.fi
