Here's an update of the ASCII version, Version 1.27 "24-Oct-95".

Delete the first three lines of the file before using it!

It's a Draft version, depending on the 'search' and 'recognition'
capabillities of the search program or script.

This .ASCII release of VirusScanList has PGP signatures.
Please see the VirusScanList.Guide on how to check these signatures.

As from VirusScanList 1.25 all names will be in lowercase. Except for the
'V' for version or 'I' for a number.

Especially for UNIX users, this list of names is in lowercase (except for
I's and V's). The original file or archive names can differ from this.

 * Double names are named with '_' and without, for better recognition.

    - Example: "JiZaNSi_1.2" and "JiZaNSi1.2"

 * Double names are named without the version number also, for better
   recognition.

    - Example: "XCopyPro_V6.5" and "XCopyPro"

 * '__-' name removal and double for better recognition.

    - Example: "Esp-dmpd.lha" and "dmpd.lha"

 * Double names with and without '.lha' , '.dms' , '.lzh' , '.exe'

    - Example: "Amix43.lha" and "Amix43"

--> These DOUBLES are not mentioned for every 'Original' name!! <--

For further improvement and better recognition I'm waiting for any
suggestions or bug reports concerning false recognition. Please report it
to me and don't change it yourself 'only', so other people can profit from
 your 'found bugs' too. :)

 The future:

 - I like to have a 'length' check also, which checks the length of a file
   in combination with a filename.
 - I like to have this check without using DirOpus, from CLI or a GUI!
 - It would be nice if the checker would recognise '*' as a wildcard,
so it checks it as a ' ' , '' or a '_' in the filename. Or any options
   if you can name any?
