And Fhatch shows the complete listing from a config file (even the ones you're not allowed to hatch a file in! ). So it's hard to find the area you're looking for..... So 7 month's ago I allready made a small util for myself, wich enabled me to hatch a file with just 1 command from within a Cnet subboard. Many sysop's I know complained about the routine for the way a file is hatched into a mail/file network. And this was my que for making my private util a public one... It's a lot of work to make a utility like this open for the mass. I allmost couldn't understand my own program anymore after 7 month's and finaly I just killed the whole thing, and started from scratch. Because it's so much work, I like to get some reqognition for it in return. I'm trying to accomplish this by making it mailware... But lazy sysops DO USE this kinda utils, but don't like to walk to a mailbox. I therefore made a KEYware program. Send me mail-> get a keyfile. The wAARPhatch program works together with the REXXREQtools.library wich is a GREAT tool to use for an arexx progger like myself. This way the whole program can be controlled with a mouse and some Reqtools input requesters wich will open on your Cnet screen. wARPhatch will allway's try to hatch the latest file wich was showed in the scan in a subbase. It's just a default, and you can choose you're own file when the file-requester is presented. wARPhatch will first search for TIC Area's wich are link'd to the filebase from wich you are hatching the file(s). wARPhatch will ONLY show Area's where you have acces to hatch, if there's a FEED ONLY it will NOT show as one of the selectable area's (It would be useless hatching to NULL:). Also you get the option " > OTHER AREA < ", this option will scan ALL area's in ALL networks for available hatch area's. If wARPhatch find's any, they will be shown, en the file will be moved or copied to that area (depending on configuration in tick.cfg). Let's say you have a file in Virus, but you want to hatch it in WARP_INFO. The wARPhatch program will FIRST present you a list with all networks which are linked to the VIRUS area (that's where the file is), and it is most likely you want to hatch it in a virus area 9 out of 10 times. But you also get a option to select WARP_INFO by selecting " > OTHER AREA < ". wARPhatch will sort the area's alfabeticly! Now it's easy to find them! wARPhatch will notice your TERMHEIGHT!, if you run Pal/interlace then you can have up to +/- 240 Area's on screen for selecting! That's the limit for now, if anyone needs more.. let me know... wARPhatch CAN do MULTI file hatching!!! but only if you've ever took the time and effort to send me that Postcard (read: @ MAILWARE @). MULTI hatching is GREAT; just klick, and whooaaa another 10 files hatched. For selecting Multi files, put your KEYFILE in Pfiles:wARPhatch/ and hold down the SHIFT key while selecting files. The program will ask one by one for a description when you have finished your selection. wARPhatch also has an configurable default description. If you do NOT give a description when asked, this default will be used. I just didn't know anything else to put in, otherwise I surely would have done it ;-). But the next project is allready on the move.... wATCH oUT fOR tHE nEXT tOOL fROM wARP W.H.Q.! ============================================= =========== tHe EnD ========== For latest Hatcher Magic: HATCH At system: 137:2/0.0@wARPnet, 2:281/417.11@Fidonet 912:3000/3.0@C-Link!, 14:101/104.0@NLAnet With Regards, Johnny Vermeulen, Alias The Duke. wAARP W.H.Q. +31-(0)71-5323618 24hrs.
