\3- Your guitarballade "Tilbury Fair" impressed the masses at Party Remedy last year and you won the music competiton easily. Tell us more about your guitar playing.

- I've been playing the guitar since I was 6 or 7 years old, but it wasn't first until last year I combined my guitar skills with tracking. During my "guitar-career" I haven't taken any lessons whatsoever, but I've been playing with various local bands, so I guess I've learnt everything from there. But honestly, I'm a terrible guitarplayer.

- You are also active on the PC, but you are still doing 4-channel modules. Has it become harder to make Amiga-music?

- Harder? No, I don't think so, but if one tracks multichannel for too long it's very easy to loose that magic 4-channel touch. Not permanently, but it's always hard to jump back from 32-channels to 4-channels. Some trackers on PC just make protracker look ancient, so that's why a lot of ex-Amiga-musicians go PC today.

- What is this group "Smoke" you seem to be a member of?

- It's a group consisting of musicians. Not that serious at all, really. Members are: myself, Elusive, Jazz, Atheist, Fender and Deelite. I'm mainly a member of Balance and Limited edition though.

- What are your influences? Like nature, ever felt so fascinated about it that you just needed to make a tune?

- My influences often comes from other music I hear, or maybe from some movie I see that has got a special mood.

- Outside the scene, what artists and composers do you admire?

- I listen a lot to acid jazz music, such as Incognito, brand new heavies and Jamiroquai (maybe that's not acid jazz). Ambient music is also something I like very much, for example, Future Sound of London, Orbital and R.D.James. Because of the fact that I listen to a very wide range of musicstyles it would take too much time to mention everyone I admire, so a short summary would be everything from Massive Attack to Enya.

- Will you keep on making scene-music for the rest of your life or do you have real ambitions?

- I'd like to work with music on a professional level, but today that is very distant I guess, so I'll just stick to the scene some more years.
